We have highly trained, qualified and experienced research nurses to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology and medical device industries, across a range of different therapeutic areas. We can deliver a professional service in line with the highest standards of clinical care and regulatory adherence.

The provision of experience Research Nurses to conduct study visits in the patient’s home, is hugely attractive in many indications. This includes orphan diseases, studies in children, the elderly and terminal cancer.

Bringing the clinic to the home is an excellent way to enhance patient recruitment and retention, maintain compliance and build an optimum relationship with study subjects.

There are many procedures which can be performed within the patients’ homes and each of our nurses is supplied with the portable kit which they take to all home visits.

Our Research Nurses attend a subject visit at the hospital site prior to the home visits taking place. This is to introduce themselves to the patient and family as well as the team at the site.

About the service

Procedures which can be performed in the home setting include administration of study drug which may be intramuscular, via an intravenous infusion or oral etc.

Research nurses also complete CRF or e-CRFs, ECGs, completion of questionnaires, monitoring such as cough monitoring. Full training is given to the nurse on this manual. Our research nurses are flexible, within the protocol to perform visits either early in the morning, later in the evening after school or work.

A coordinator oversees each of our home research nursing projects. They liaise with the Sponsors, provide support to the nurses and help schedule patient visits.
